Algol Ressources - the fixed star in the horoscope

As a lot of my horoscope's energy is fixed on Chiron in Taurus is being conjunct the fixed star Algol, I thought I'd put a list of well-written ressources on this blog as well.

The list of astro articles on Algol is here for you to enjoy and read through:

If you have any planets or points in conjunction with Algol (25-26 degrees of Taurus), chances are that these entities are also close to or conjunct the fixed star Capulus which is 1-2 degrees away from Algol at (23-24 degrees Taurus). Thus, these two entities' destiny or themes are closely related.
As Algol energy is the myth of Medusa, Capulus plays out the energy and myth of Perseus - the male who beheaded and thus conquered Medusa in all her snake-like energy.

Where Algol is closely tied to the Medusa myth and themes about destructive male energy slaughtering or repressing the strong female energy in a person's life, combined with taking power from the feminine, Capulus is related to themes of great sexual (male) energy. I like the way VirgoVault describes the themes of fixed stars - they are the rivers that flows under the sand, and we play out these myths and stories with our soul mates.

So, if you have anything conjunct one of these two fixed stars, it is important to learn about both Algol and Capulus, the last one being representative of the male kundalini energy with his sword in hand (Perseus).
I like this qoute from Arabella Arthur, saying:

"Capulus natives have zero tolerance for the monster within others. Any beast shall be slayed, firmly and swiftly. Algol natives, who also have Capulus, are demons and slayers".
Interestingly enough, my mom's Moon is conjunct Capulus, and my Venus-Jupiter-Sun conjunction is closer to Capulus than Algol (they run from 19-21 degrees). Funny how she never have had any tolerance for my deepest wound of self-worth - which she has had a great part of inflicting. Projecting anyone?!

Also, as my mother has certain narcissistic traits, this passage from VirgoVault on Capulus, really got my attention:

I've found that Algol natives can become narcissistic adults, due to the smothering and over attention given to them by their mothers - the exact opposite that Capulus natives usually experience. Algol/Capulus natives may experience both extremes.
Bingo.

As Chiron is conjunct the Algol - the myth of the sacred feminine who ends up with a severed head, one would not argue the fact that one with this position would have themes of wounding and being wounded in his/her feminine energy inside. This rings true for me as well, as my mom cut off my hair when I was a child, when I complained about the harshness and hurt it caused to my hair roots when she brushed it.
What did my mother do?
She cut it off and made me look like a boy for several years.
Talk about the divine feminine being violated!
When I was older I grew my hair and have kept it long ever since.
I think my mother was living out the myth of Perseus during these years. She felt threatened by the feminine, and was very angry on my grandmother providing me with dresses, shoes, shirts and skirts worthy of a very feminine mother. She did not like me to wear it, and unconsciously I think it was because she felt jelous of my femininity as my father very much liked feminine woman, long hair, skirts and so on. My mother never did utilize her own feminine power in her, always keeping her hair short or in a page while both my sister and me grew our thick hair as long as we could.
